A former Qassim University professor, founder and chairman of the Committee for the Naming of Distinctive Climate Conditions in Saudi Arabia, revealed that Arafat's region in Mecca recorded the highest temperature in the world in the last 24 hours.
Abdullah al-Masnad published data from “el dorado weather”, a temperature monitoring site, showing that Saudi Arabia "ranks first in the list of the highest recorded degrees in the world" in the last 24 hours, 43°C.
"There is general weather stability, and the weather in the daytime is hot to moderate and sunny, while the night will be clear and mild to cold in the far north and over the south-western highlands," he said about today’s weather.
