Minister of Youth and Sports, Adnan Dirjal, called on the sports fans to launch a campaign to support Iraqi National Team in its next matches against Lebanon and the UAE in the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Dirjal stressed, in a statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Monday, "The need to support the national team, stand behind the players in order to overcome the failures in the previous match against Iran and achieve a positive result through which the team returns to the path of victories."
The Minister of Youth called "To launch (hashtags) on social networks to support the lions of Mesopotamia, and to send a positive message to the players that we still trust their abilities to achieve positive results and compete for one of the qualification cards."
