The Popular Mobilization Forces commander of Anbar operations, Qassem Musleh, revealed today, Friday, the results of the first day of Heroe's Revenge Operation, which was launched today, according to accurate intelligence information to secure the Iraqi-Syrian border strip and the areas between the border and Akashat Road.
Musleh said in a statement to the "Popular Mobilization" website, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the first day of the operation included securing 9 important security areas, including (Wadi Azzam, Wadi al-Radka, Sweib, al-Fidah, Wadi al-Kharsh, Makr al-Dhib, and Wadi al-Dhib) in addition to the areas adjacent to the border strip.
He continued, "We emphasized the good and humane dealings with the shepherds and the inhabitants of the desert areas, who are exploited by the enemy to camouflage and hide, and it is imperative that we protect them and protect their property from being exploited by ISIS terrorist gangs."
