According to data of the Russian Customs Service, that Gazprom's revenues from gas exports through pipelines grew in the period from January to July, by 1.8 times in annual value, and amounted to 23.7 billion dollars.

During that, the gas export price rose in July by 8% compared to June and reached $245.1 per thousand cubic meters.
The physical volume of gas exports in the period from January to July increased by 14.9 percent compared to the same period in 2020, and amounted to 123.8 billion cubic meters.

In July, the company's revenues from gas exports declined slightly, by 2.1% compared to June, to reach $3.48 billion.
At the same time, the volume of exports in July decreased by 9.7% on a monthly basis, to 14.2 billion cubic meters.

Compared to July 2020, Gazprom's revenue increased 3.3 times, while the volume of exports increased by 14.5%.
It is worth noting that, a year ago, the price of 1,000 cubic meters was approximately $86.2.
The price of gas export via pipelines in July of this year was much higher than the profitability level of gas exports for the company, which experts estimate at about $90-100 per thousand cubic meters.

In June, the price was $226.5 per thousand cubic meters, in May, $199.7, and in April, $185.5 per thousand cubic meters.
Taking into account the average prices declared by "Gazprom", the total cost of pipelined gas transportation from the Yamal fields to the entry point to Germany could be about $90 per 1,000 cubic metres.

This amount includes the cost of production, mineral extraction tax, transportation through Russia and then along the "Northern Stream" pipeline. To this value must also be added an export duty of 30% of the company's sales price in Europe.
