Cycling Marathon in Dhi Qar

    Dhi Qar organized the first Ur Marathon for cycling in the governorate, on the anniversary of founding the city of Nasiriyah.
     
    "The first marathon for a bicycle race comes to support tourism in the archaeological city of Ur and the anniversary of founding the city of Nasiriyah," said the governor of Dhi Qar, Ahmed Ghani al-Khafaji, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
     
    Al-Khafaji pointed out that "dozens of cyclists from inside the province participate in this race,"
