Security Media Cell – SMC announced that 3 terrorists were killed in Saladin Governorate, during air strikes by the army aircraft.
"Following up by the Ground Forces Command, a force from the Saladin Operations Command carried out an inspection duty at the site of the air strikes carried out by international coalition aircraft, on Sunday, on a hideout that was used by Daesh terrorist gangs in Al-Aith, north of Tikrit,” stated SMC in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
During the operation, another hideout was found in the same place with three terrorists inside it, who opened fire by a sniper at the force carrying out the duty, as a result of which two fighters were slightly injured, according to the statement.
The statement also included that, "the heroes of the army aviation supporting the forces managed to completely destroy the hideout as it killed terrorists in it,"
