Nadhim said in a press conference at Baghdad International Airport, which was attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the antiquities that arrived in Iraq are from the clay figure, which Iraq recovered and returned to its original land."
He added, "The recovered antiquities came with unremitting efforts from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture represented by the Antiquities and Heritage Authority, and a great effort from the Iraqi Embassy in Washington."
He added, "Iraq will continue to work to recover the antiquities that were stolen and looted from the country, and the recovered antiquities will be displayed in the Iraqi Museum."
In turn, the head of the Antiquities and Heritage Authority, Laith Hussein, confirmed that "most of the recovered pieces date back to the period of Ur III dynasty 2121-2004 BC, from the modern Sumerian era."
