PM Stresses the Importance Cooperation with International Bank

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi stressed the importance of developing cooperation with the international Bank. 

The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement, that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, met the President of the international Bank Group David Malpass and his accompanying delegation, and during the meeting, joint cooperation was discussed In various fields, supporting the Iraqi government’s efforts in administrative reform and anti-Corruption, supporting abilities building for Iraqi institutions, public sector reform, and reform banking sector. 

He added, "They also discussed cooperation with regard to financing infrastructure projects in Iraq, water fields, airports, and natural gas. They also discussed clean energy projects, especially solar energy to generate electric power. 

The Prime Minister stressed, "the importance of developing cooperation with the International Bank and ways to develop it, and urged the rapid disbursement of more than one billion dollars, available as loans to the International Bank, to support the government in projects are ready for implementation inside Iraq.
