The First Deputy Speaker of House Representatives, Hassan Al-Kaabi, called to benefit from the results of the tripartite summit and progress economic affairs.
The Iraqi parliamentary delegation, headed by Hassan Karim Al-Kaabi, First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, met the head of the Jordanian Parliament, Abdel Moneim Al-Awdat, as well as the head and members of the Foreign Relations Committee.
The statement added, "This came within the agenda of the visit conducted by a high-ranking Iraqi parliamentary delegation headed by Hassan Karim al-Kaabi and including a number of deputies at an official invitation from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Al-Kaabi stressed that the main purpose of exchanging such visits is to strengthen and develop the historical relations between the two brotherly countries, Iraq and Jordan.
The two parties discussed, "many issues related to the mechanisms of developing economic relations and the possibility of Arab companies contributing to reconstruction projects and benefiting from the valid agreements signed between Iraq and Jordan, especially what was concluded by the last tripartite Baghdad summit, which is guaranteed to be the beginning of a great scientific, intellectual and economic advancement between the three countries.
