PMF thwart an Attack to Target Power Transmission Towers South of Nineveh

The Popular Mobilization Forces announced on Sunday that it had thwarted an attempt to detonate power transmission towers south of Nineveh.
 
A statement by PMF, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that a force from the 25th Brigade thwarted an attempt by ISIS terrorists’ gangs to detonate electric power transmission towers south of Nineveh province, noting that the force found, during a security operation, three IEDs that were Prepared to detonate a tower to transmit electric power in the south of the province.
 
The statement of PMF also mentioned that the forces of the 25th Brigade intensified their security measures to protect the high-pressure towers for transmitting electrical powers from sabotage attacks.
