The Iraqi Media Network honored on Thursday, a number of broadcasters and technicians in the Radio of the Republic of Iraq on the occasion of the anniversary of 85 of its founding, and promised to provide advanced radio devices to keep the cast.
The head of the Iraqi Media Network, Dr. Nabil Jassim, said, in his speech during the ceremony, which was attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Radio of the Republic of Iraq from Baghdad lights its 85th candle of its long life, and it was the first radio station in the Middle East and the second radio in the Middle East. He added: "We are now in a position of responsibility, and we find it necessary to maintain and protect this glare with its young men and women workers, and to equip the mother radio with the advanced equipment it needs to continue broadcasting and raise it in the service of the citizen and the audio media." For his part, a member of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Alaa Al-Hattab, praised the role of the Radio of the Republic of Iraq in educating and educating the community and broadcasting important, service, artistic and cultural programmes, explaining that “the broadcasting rooms in the radio witnessed the modern history of Iraq shortly after the founding of the state.
Al-Hattab continued, "The name of the Republic of Iraq Radio was enough for those who worked in it to be awarded a certificate of media excellence, as it graduated from the best and most prestigious radio stations in the region, so it has produced many brilliant names from broadcasters, broadcasters, directors, producers and technicians."
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Jaafar Al-Wanan, and the Chairman of the Network, Dr. Nabil Jassim, honored a number of veteran radio workers during the ceremony, which was attended by members of the Board of Trustees, network managers and an audience of media professionals and artists.
Radio Republic of Iraq from Baghdad is one of the oldest radio stations in the Middle East and the second radio established in the Arab world, and it was a witness to the political events that occurred in the modern history of Iraq, while its programs varied between cultural, service, artistic, dramatic and political.
