AIFI: A terrorist cell arrested in Babil

The Security Media Cell announced on Saturday the arrest of a terrorist cell that killed a family in Babil province.

In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), SMC stated that according to an accurate intelligence information and continuous follow-up investigations, the detachments of the Agency of Intelligence and Federal Investigation at the Ministry of Interior were able to arrest a network of five terrorists from sleeper cells northern Babil province.

SMC indicated that the terrorists’ names was included in the database of those wanted in accordance to Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law.
The terrorists admitted killing a citizen and his family in northern Babil province, and carrying out number of terrorist attacks against the security forces, SMC added.
