Today, Wednesday, the 14th Arab Conference of Heads of Security Media Services was launched by the Presidency of the Republic of Iraq.
The heads of the security media will participate in the conference, with the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Muhammad bin Ali Komanen.
The conference schedule included a set of paragraphs, including the results of implementing the recommendations of the Arab conference, distinct experiences in using the media to combat terrorism, the role of the media in spreading terrorism and extremist ideology, the integrated vision on the role of the media in fighting terrorism, as well as programs for preparing and qualifying the official speaker, and a number of files and topics of common interest.
Major General Ma’an stressed in his speech that "the security media experience in Iraq is one of the most important and successful experiences in our Arab and regional surroundings, through the long experience in field work, given the repercussions and wars that our country witnessed during the last stage, which culminated in the great victory of our Iraqi security forces over terrorism.
He stressed that "the axis of cooperation between the security media and Arab and international institutions in Iraq was an important factor in success of the security media's work through holding workshops, seminars and conferences to tackle new crimes on Iraqi society, in order to achieve sustainable security in the country.
