PMF thwart a major terrorist plot in Anbar

The Popular Mobilization Authority announced today, Thursday,
the thwarting of a major terrorist plot in Anbar.

The PMF said in an official statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the intelligence and information assistant in the Popular Mobilization managed, during a successful security operation, to dismantle a large number of explosive devices and high explosive materials that were intended for double detonation to target military units and citizens in the Khalidiyah district in the Bubali district in the province Anbar.

The statement added that "the explosive devices were dismantled, the explosive materials were destroyed, detonated and disposed of safely, as they were placed inside the glycans of what is known as the "Al-sibha".
