Baghdad - INA
Minister of Immigration and Displacement Evan Faeq announced today, Wednesday, the return of 94 families from Al-Hol camp after completing the security check, while identifying three reasons that delayed the continued return of displaced families to Nineveh .
Faeq said in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency (INA), (to be published at a later time) that "the return of the displaced families from Al-Hol camp continues to their original areas in Nineveh and it is nothing new," indicating that "there is continuity in that ."
Faeq added that "the delay in the return of these families from the camp is due to financial allocation, security checks and the Corona pandemic, as these reasons were the obstacle in the matter," noting that "the stopping period of their return is short."
"The security services have resumed security checks, and it is the ministry's duty to receive the returnees after they enter Iraq and deliver them to the existing camps," Faeq added, explaining that "in the past, they are integrated into their communities and places of origin upon their return."
