The results of security operations within a week

The Security Media Cell counted, today, Friday, the results of its security operations within a week in various sectors, while indicating that 81 wanted persons were arrested on various charges, including terrorism.

 In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the cell said, "The ground forces command continued its field efforts by the operations commanders and teams, and the outcome of their operations and duties in various operations sectors and within a week for the period from 14 to 21 May 2021, 81 of those wanted were arrested on charges. Different, including terrorism. " 
She added, "The forces found 87 explosive devices of various kinds, and also found 18 balls and a cache and 76 stacks of various equipment and weapons, and killed 7 terrorists, and found 8 light weapons and 5 medium ones, in addition to finding 14 rockets of different types and sizes." 

The cell added, "The forces also found 116 projectiles of various calibers, 4 motorcycles, 9 mobile devices and 3 missile launchers, while they thwarted 63 smuggling operations and arrested 4 infiltrators on the Iraqi-Syrian border. They also found 24 containers of 12.5 mm ammunition and 143 kg of material." The C4 is highly explosive. " 

In addetio to that pointed out that "the dealings were made, as it dealt with the duly seized materials, and those arrested were handed over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them."
