The Security Media Cell announced that Iraqi warplanes had directed strikes on ISIS tunnels in Nineveh .
The cell stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "according to accurate intelligence information from the Counter-Terrorism Service, Iraqi F16 planes carried out a series of air strikes southeast of Mosul."
The cell added, "The strikes targeted tunnels that were used by ISIS terrorist elements' in their operations against the security forces."
