Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi exchanged congratulations, wishes and blessings with a number of leaders of brotherly and friendly countries on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr.
A statement by the Prime Minister’s Media Office received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that “Al-Kadhimi wished on this occasion in the name of Iraq the continuation of security, stability and prosperity, and the continuation of the distinguished relations between the Iraqi people and all the peoples of the region,” indicating that “the prime minister received congratulations coupled with sincere wishes for prosperity and progress for the government and people of Iraq. "
The statement added, "The Prime Minister exchanged congratulations with the Saudi monarch, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, the Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and the Emir of the State of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the King of Bahrain, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, noting that “the leaders of brotherly and friendly countries expressed their sincere wishes for the Iraqi people to Yemen and prosperity, and for all peoples in the region to enjoy security, stability and sustainable development, and to overcome challenges through human contact, consolidate peace, and consolidate bonds of friendship and partnership for the benefit of all.
