Iraq produces very expensive rare mushrooms

    Anbar University announced the production of a rare and expensive mushroom used in the production of medicines and medicinal drugs, indicating that this mushroom is monopolized by Japanese companies.
    "The College of Agriculture has made a unique achievement that has not happened in Iraqi, Arab and international universities, which is the production of the Japanese ichthyaki mushroom, which is considered one of the medicinal fungi and is very expensive because it is used in the production of medicines and medicinal drugs," 
    The official of the Media Division at the Faculty of Agriculture at the university, Saad Al-Kubaisi Noting that "this fungus is the monopoly of Japanese companies."
    Al-Kubaisi added that "a research team in the College of Agriculture headed by the Dean of the College, Idham Ali Abd, Professor Dr. Jamal Hammoud Al-Kubaisi, and Doctoral Student Muhammad Barakat completed this mushroom within the laboratories of Anbar University with 100% local capabilities."
