Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone refused to change the way Atletico Madrid play against Barcelona in the Spanish League on Saturday.

Simeone said: Despite all the complexities of the reality that he will not change his usual style of play and will not turn more towards a style that is predominantly offensive.

He added, "We go into the games with a clear idea in the current season, as you can see," indicating that "this succeeded completely at times and did not succeed at other times. We do not change much, but we will try to benefit from our previous experiences."

Simeone added, "Barcelona is a team that is doing well and has made great progress after a slow start in the first half of the season."
