The Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi received today, Thursday, the Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sports Adnan Darjal and his accompanying delegation to discuss the Gulf file 25.
The Kuwaiti Federation said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi, Director General of the Public Authority for Sports Hammoud Fleetah and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwaiti Football Association Ahmed Al-Youssef Al-Sabah received today the Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sports Adnan Darjal, the Governor of Basra, Asad Al-Eidani, the President of the Normalization Authority of the Iraqi Federation, Iyad Muhammad Al-Nadawi, and the Secretary-General of the Iraqi Federation Muhammad Farhan Obaid In the presence of the Vice Chairman of the Kuwait Football Association, Ahmed Uqla Al-Enezi, and the Secretary-General of the Kuwaiti Federation, Salah Al-Qenaei.
He added, "The Iraqi delegation will hold a meeting with officials in Kuwait in order to consolidate Iraq's chances to host the Gulf Cup in its twenty-fifth edition."
