National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji discussed with the Saudi ambassador in Baghdad Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, today, Tuesday, the situation in the region and bilateral relations.
The Information Office of the National Security Adviser said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received in his office today, Tuesday, the Saudi ambassador in Baghdad, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari," indicating that "Al-Araji discussed with the Saudi ambassador, strengthening brotherly relations." between Baghdad and Riyadh , and to emphasize the importance of openness and rapprochement with everyone through constructive dialogue and joint action " .
He added, "The two sides reviewed the political and security situation in the region, and ways to end the differences, in a way that serves the interests of the countries and peoples of the region, while emphasizing that dialogue, understanding and good neighborliness will enhance stability, development and encourage investment in all fields ."
