The Security and Defense Committee in the House of Representatives revealed, on Friday, the axes of the new round of the strategic dialogue, while confirming the necessity of the existence of constants related to Iraq to benefit from the next round of dialogue.
Badr Al-Ziyadi, a member of the committee, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The new round of strategic dialogue between Iraq and the United States of America, which will start on the seventh of this April, will include economic, political and security axes," indicating that "the Iraqi government has it files for discussion within Al-Kadhimi's plan regarding the security situation in particular. "
Al-Ziyadi added that "in this dialogue, the main points must be fixed so that it can be benefited from and not be formal. There must be constants related to Iraq because it needs a lot and must benefit from diplomatic relations," noting that "Iraq today has excellent and advanced security forces, and it can count himself to defend his borders without the need for additional forces. "
