The Iraqi Central Equestrian Federation continues its daily training for the game of picking pegs and jumping barriers, five days a week and two training units to maintain the level of knights in preparation for the upcoming competitions.
Head of the Iraqi Equestrian Federation, Haider Al-Jumaili, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Thursday, that "the Iraqi knights continue their training for the game of picking pegs and jumping barriers, and five days a week for hurdling, and with two training units for the effectiveness of picking pegs."
Al-Jumaili added, "It was hoped that the weekly Ramadan championship would be held next Ramadan, similar to previous years, but the circumstances of the Corona pandemic and the curfew prevented it from being held this season, as the past years witnessed the holding of an evening tournament every Thursday of the month of Ramadan at Jadriya stadiums under the floodlights. ".
