Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein discussed with Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to strengthen cooperation between Baghdad and Riyadh.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Thursday, that "the two sides praised the growing development witnessed in the past period, and the ways to deepen it further in light of the strong and serious will of both countries to strengthen cooperation frameworks between them."
The ministry added, during the statement, that "prospects for strengthening joint cooperation between the two countries were discussed, in a way that would contribute to achieving the interests of the two brotherly countries."
This meeting came on the sidelines of the official visit of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to Saudi Arabia. Upon the invitation addressed to him by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
