Ministry of Health and Environment - MOH confirmed on Saturday, that the Corona vaccine is safe, effective, and approved by the World Health Organization - WHO.
"MOH seeks to ensure that all must be covered by COVID-19vaccine, to be taken free of charge," said a member of the medical media team supporting the ministry, Dr. Ruba Falah Hassan, to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
She noted that the vaccine is safe and effective with being administered after obtaining a guarantee of official and medical approvals along with the approval of the World Health Organization as there are instructions issued on how to register via the electronic platforms.
Hassan explained that the application was launched in both Arabic and Kurdish, with simple steps by answering several questions, after which a number will be given for the person receiving the vaccination and the date of taking it is handed over, and “MOH took in consideration those who are unable to register due to their inability to register for difficulties the citizen may encounter to reach the platform by going directly to the health center so that an employee at the center will give the vaccine and fill out the form or data, with the booked preference for the vaccine in advance on the electronic platform for its ease as well as, to ensure that it is reserved and that the number comes via the mobile phone,”
She called the citizens to rush to the electronic platforms launched by the Ministry to reserve the vaccine from now after it has become available in all centers designated for the vaccine.
“There is no way to get rid of this virus except by completing vaccine doses and creating community immune to reduce the number of infections and the need to adhere to preventive measures while taking the vaccine, then to ensure that the vaccine works properly and scientifically," she added.
