The Ministry of Displacement and Migration set the requirements for ending the file of displaced persons in Iraq.
Deputy Minister of Immigration Karim Al-Nouri told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The file of the displaced is closed when some of the obstacles that the displaced families face are finished," noting that "these obstacles are coordination with the rest of the ministries and other departments in terms of security files and service files submitted to these" Families when they return to their original areas of residence. "
He pointed out that "the governorates that have closed the displacement file after the Ministry of Immigration provided all services to the displaced families are Karbala, the Holy Najaf, Basra, Diyala, Baghdad, Salah al-Din and Kirkuk," indicating that "there is a committee in the Council of Ministers that is responsible for compensation, and at the present time the situation depends on providing Financial allocations, however, the Ministry, in coordination with international organizations and local governments, has restored 3000 homes in the liberated areas, and there is an effort to allocate lands for the purpose of establishing low-cost compounds for those affected families.
