Salih and Halbousi affirms the need to expedite the legislation of the budget law

The Presidents of the Republic, Barham Salih, and the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, stressed today, Thursday, the need to expedite the legislation of the budget law.
The media office of the Speaker of Parliament said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi received the President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih, to discuss the overall situation and crises the country is going through, and ways to deal with them under the current circumstances."
He added, "The meeting discussed early elections and creating the appropriate atmosphere for conducting free elections that express the will of the citizen and enhance confidence in their results."
