The Ministry of Health confirmed that mobile teams will start vaccinating citizens at home, starting next week.
Health Minister Hassan Al-Tamimi told the news agency, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The ministry has directed to distribute the Corona vaccine to all governorates upon its arrival," indicating that "next Sunday, health teams will start to vaccinate citizens at home."
He explained, "A meeting was held with the general managers in the ministry to discuss the mechanism of dealing with doses, as well as the presence of teams within ministries and institutions in order to include the largest number of citizens with the vaccine."
On the other hand, Al-Tamimi pointed out, "the government's keenness to complete health projects that are lagging in Baghdad and the provinces," pointing out that "more than 22 projects in Baghdad have been discussed with the governor of Baghdad, especially as some of them require the intervention of the ministry in terms of technical and medical devices."
