The Ministry of Health announced today, Thursday, the measures that must be taken in colleges, institutes and schools during the course of the attendance exams to limit the spread of the Coronavirus.
The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers quoted a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “the procedures stipulate, according to what the Ministry of Health announced, to appoint a responsible employee in every school, institute or college affiliated with the ministry, to be responsible for responding to everything related to Covid-19 disease, and to emphasize All employees of educational institutions, teaching staff, and students must wear masks, and remind them constantly about not touching the face cover.
The measures also indicated that, "The procedures also included checking the temperature of students when they enter school, institute or colleges, as well as making sure that the student does not have a cough or shortness of breath by the health coordinator or coordinating with the health center responsible for school health within the geographical area, and ensuring that they are the process of entering and leaving students to and from classes and halls is calm and organized to reduce unnecessary crowding, in order to maintain a distance of at least 1.5-2 meters between one person and another, and to adhere to the rules of physical separation between people, and to avoid hugging, kissing or shaking hands when greeting by all Persons.
