The Ministry of Health and Environment determined today, Friday, the country's ranking according to the global epidemiological situation of Corona.
A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Iraq ranked 24th in terms of the number of new injuries yesterday, with 23 countries leading it, including Jordan as the number of cases was 8,300 new cases, Turkey 1,4046 new cases, and Iran 8,308 injuries."
He added, "As for the new deaths, Iraq’s ranking was 37, with 36 countries being ahead of it, among them from the region. Jordan recorded 49 new deaths, Egypt 41 deaths, Turkey 63 new deaths, and Iran 88 new deaths."
The statement continued, "As for the rate of injuries per million, Iraq is 18257 per million, the order of Iraq is 93, meaning there are 92 countries, including Jordan 44,500 per million, Turkey 33,378 per million, the UAE 42,118 per million, and several other countries from the region."
