MOE: A number of stations will be opened in the coming days

The Ministry of Electricity confirmed today, Friday,  the opening of a number of stations in the coming days, while it revealed details of alternative energy projects.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity, Ahmad Musa, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The ministry referred a round of licenses for solar energy (755) megawatts within the alternative energy projects in five governorates, namely Najaf, Holy Karbala, Babil, Diwaniyah and Samawah," indicating that "it will take place." Work on it after studying all the offers made commercially and technically. "
Regarding maintenance of stations, he explained that "there are some obstetric units under maintenance and will be completed. The Wasit station, Al-Debs station, Kirkuk station, Al-Khairat station and Al-Musayyib station will witness the entry of some obstetric units after completing the maintenance," stressing that "there are some maintenance work underway, and preparations will be separated. Summer, in general, the target production during the summer, if Iranian gas capacity is restored. "
