The National Security Agency announced today, Thursday, the arrest of six terrorists in Anbar.
The agency said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Through the intensification of the intelligence effort and the qualitative operations that were characterized by surveillance and tracking, the detachments of the National Security Agency in separate areas of Anbar Governorate were able to overthrow, according to judicial notes, six members belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs."
He added that "these people worked in what is called the Office of the Soldiers in what is known as the state of Anbar," noting that "their statements were recorded fundamentalist locally, after they admitted carrying out several military operations that affected innocent citizens and security forces during the liberation operations."
The agency confirmed that "they have been referred to the competent legal authorities to take just measures against them."
