WHO: Two shipments of COVID Vaccine are to arrive in Iraq

    World Health Organization - WHO announced that two rounds of Coronavirus vaccines will arrive in Iraq.
    The permanent representative of Iraq to the UN Office in Geneva met WHO Director-General and offered his thanks for the organization's efforts in directing countries to limit the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
    "The director general of the organization confirmed that the first batch of vaccines, amounting to (568,000), will soon arrive in Iraq, and they will be shipped to Iraq on March, 15th 2021. And, the second dose (1,157,000) will be shipped on April 15th 2021, as the rest of the doses will be shipped too in which Iraq bought, amounting to 16 million doses, respectively," said Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf to INA.
