The Pope arrives in Erbil

On Sunday, Pope Francis arrived in Erbil Governorate, after completing his visit to Nineveh.
The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that Pope Francis arrived this afternoon in Erbil Governorate, after completing his visit to Nineveh Governorate. He added that he went to the Francois Hariri Stadium in Erbil Governorate.
Pope Francis left this morning for Nineveh Governorate, after his visit to Erbil.
Upon his arrival in Erbil, Pope Francis met today, Sunday, with the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani and Prime Minister Masrour Barzani.
