Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail confirmed that OPEC's agreement to reduce production contributed in reducing the implications of COVID-19.
This came during his participation in the Ministerial (online) Meeting for Production Control (JMMC), which was emanating from the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), according to a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The Minister of Oil affirmed, according to the statement, the keenness of (OPEC) oil-producing countries and their allies to maintain the balance and stability of the global oil market, by adhering to production reduction plans, to face the implications of the pandemic.
