Al-Halbousi: The difficult challenges we face are caused by the constant accumulation of mistakes

The Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, confirmed today, Thursday that the difficult challenges facing the country are caused by the continuous accumulation of mistakes.

Al-Halbousi said in a speech on the occasion of the New Year, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “I extend my congratulations and congratulations to the dear Iraqi people in general, and to our Christian families in particular, on the occasion of Christmas and New Year's Day, and we wish that our new year will be a year of stability, and that Everyone enjoys peace, security and reassurance.”

He added, "Our world has suffered from a difficult year in which the new Corona virus threatens the lives of billions of people, changed the lifestyles and lives, targeted the economic sector, and caused tremendous psychological and moral damage, and resulted in the loss of lives and the loss of loved ones and friends, so consolation and patience for everyone who lost a loved one, Mercy and satisfaction are for their souls.”

He continued: "We are on the threshold of a new year, we pray to God to spare us what happened to us in the past, and to work hard to neutralize the results of the circumstances of the past year, and the Iraqis have a window of opportunity this year to express their democratic choice through the legislative elections that will take place this year, to be a point. A mission launching in the process of rectification in order to build the country, cross the crisis, and achieve the aspirations of our people for a decent life and a safe and secure life. "
