The region delegation holding a meeting to determine exports and the proportion of Kurdistan from the borrowing law

The region’s delegation will hold a meeting today, Sunday, with the ministers of finance and oil, in the presence of SOMO, for the purpose of determining the origins of oil exported from the region.

The spokesman for the head of the region’s delegation, Qubad Talabani, Samir Hawrami, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the Kurdistan Region delegation headed by Qubad Talabani, Vice President of the Regional Government, will hold a meeting with the Ministers of Finance and Oil, in the presence of SOMO for the purpose of determining the value of the exported oil The region and determining the amounts of non-oil revenues in implementation of the law on financing the fiscal deficit approved by the Iraqi Council of Representatives.

He added, "The meeting came as a result of the session held yesterday in the presence of the two prime ministers and the parliament with the two delegations negotiating to reach a solution between the two parties," noting that "the establishment of oil exported from the Kurdistan region and the total non-oil imports will be determined and then the region’s share will be determined according to What was stated in the law on financing the fiscal deficit approved by the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
