The Sewage Directorate in Basrah Governorate confirmed, today, Friday, that the lack of financial allocations has stopped large projects.
The director of Basra Sewage Directorate Khazaal Hamid told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The directorate has major projects that it was supposed to undertake at the beginning of this year and according to its plan, except that the lack of financial allocations and the lack of sufficient liquidity immediately did not start them," indicating that "If these projects were implemented, they would have had a positive impact in the governorate and would restore their luster to the streets, especially in the rainy season."
