Border Ports Authority announced the seizure of two containers containing (hookah molasses) of Egyptian origin, which is banned from importing in Um Qasr Al-Awsat in Basra.
The authority stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Tuesday, that "the two containers were seized inside the customs compound based on information from the intelligence service, and a committee was subsequently formed to inspect the competent authorities, which confirmed the validity of the information received."
He referred to "the customs sealing of the two containers for the purpose of showing them before the competent investigating judge to take the necessary legal measures."
