The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers confirmed that the doors of Iraq are open to all countries to conclude partnerships and open investment horizons, while indicating that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi is interested in agreements concluded through the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council.
A spokesman for the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Haider Majeed, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The Secretary General Hamid Al-Ghazi confirmed that the doors of Iraq are open for all countries to conclude partnerships and open investment horizons in all fields."
Majeed added, quoting the Secretary-General of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi's interest in the agreements reached through the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council, which will contribute to attracting manpower, increasing exports and reducing imports.
He pointed out that the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers met with the Governor of Foreign Trade of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Rahman Al-Harbi, and a special plan was drawn up in which discussions will take place in the coming days between the Iraqi and Saudi sides, with the participation of all relevant parties.
