Iraqi News Agency - INA correspondent reported that, until this moment, no Iraqi damages were reported during Izmir earthquake that struck the city earlier on today’s Friday.

Earlier, the mayor of Izmir Tung Swyar confirmed, on Friday, the reports about the collapse of about 20 buildings in the state due to the earthquake.

The governor of Istanbul, Ali Yerli Kaya, announced that they had not yet received news of casualties due to the earthquake in Izmir, which was felt by the city's residents.

A 6.6 magnitude earthquake had occurred on the Richter scale, with its epicenter in the Aegean Sea off the coast of the city of "Safrihisar" in western Turkey.
