Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee confirmed that it will continue to follow up the strategic framework agreement with US, while making it clear that the agreement does not include the security aspect only, but includes education, economic and other aspects.
"The committee considers the issue of implementing the strategic framework agreement, especially with the US, as one of its priorities, so it is continuing its discussions with the bodies responsible for implementing the agreement," said a member of the committee, Ali Al-Ghanmi, to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He added, "Discussions and inquiries are continuing by the security committee with officials to find out what the US side has presented regarding the fight against terrorism, support for Iraqi forces, and other files,"
