The Personal Secretary of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Muhammad al-Bayati, emphasized the great role and depth of the Iraqi tribes and their support for the state and its democratic political system, while the Emir of the Abouda tribe indicated the Iraqi tribes ’support for steps to impose security and state authority.
A statement by Al-Bayati's office received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said today, Sunday, that "the personal secretary of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Al-Bayati, received the Emir of the Al-Abouda tribe in Iraq, Sheikh Hussein Ali Al-Khayoun."
Al-Bayati emphasized the great role and depth of the Iraqi tribes and their support for the state and its democratic political system, appreciating the sacrifices that these tribes made in the war against Daesh terrorist gangs.
