Today, Tuesday, the Iraqi News Agency (INA) publishes the final statement of the tripartite summit between Iraq, Egypt and Jordan, which was held in Amman.
The closing statement stressed "the importance of strengthening effective partnership within the framework of the tripartite coordination mechanism between Jordan, Egypt and Iraq and deepening coordination and cooperation in the economic, development, political and security fields."
The statement praised "King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein's call to reset globalization and better international integration and institutionalize tripartite cooperation by establishing an executive secretariat whose headquarters will be rotated annually."
The statement added that "the executive secretariat of the tripartite summit will be based in Amman for a year, while stressing the centrality of the Palestinian cause, activating peace efforts and the need to stop Israel annexing any Palestinian lands and intensify political efforts to solve the crises in Syria, Libya and Yemen in accordance with Security Council resolutions."
