Deputy Speaker of Iraqi Parliament is tested positive for COVID-19

First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hassan Karim Al-Kaabi announced that he tested positive for COVID-19.

Al-Kaabi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "Two days ago, I experienced uncomfortable health symptoms, and as a result I took the necessary medical tested in which I was infected with the new Corona virus,”

He added, "I thank everyone who asks about me and I apologize for not being able to respond during the current situation”

My prayer from the Almighty is to "protect Iraq, Iraqis, and all of humanity from the danger of this dreaded epidemic and ensure a speedy recovery for all those infected with this disease."
