MOP confirms the progress in granting investment licenses in the field of roads

Today, Thursday, Minister of Planning Khaled Battal confirmed the continuation of granting investment licenses in the field of roads.

"A meeting was held with the Parliamentary Services Committee and the Ministry of Construction and the Investment Authority to discuss several matters, including granting seven investment licenses in the field of roads, which is a new matter and cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities to reach new solutions and ideas," Battal said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA). ".

He added, "During the meeting, we proposed the idea of offering investment opportunities in the field of roads, which in turn will achieve a qualitative shift in the state's policy," noting that "the Ministry of Construction and Housing handles the technical aspects, while the investment authority takes upon itself contractual matters and coordination aspects."
