Today, Wednesday, the Parliamentary Legal Committee affirmed the necessity of following three stages to enhance non-oil revenues and confront the current economic crisis.
Member of the Committee Hussein Al-Oqabi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The economic crisis that the country is going through is the core of revenue, calling on the government to go towards non-oil revenues that are in three stages."
He added that "the first stage is holding the corrupt people accountable for contracts, manipulating their prices and dealing with waste in the public budget, especially in unnecessary expenses that can be dispensed with."
