The Director General of the Department of Public Health, Riad Abdel Amir, warned of the collapse of the health system, due to the increasing number of infections with Coruna virus, while noting that the ministerial teams did not find any traces of a comprehensive ban in areas with high infections.
Abdul Amir told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Thursday, that "the health system is currently under control, but we have fears of increasing the number of casualties on a daily basis."
He added, "Citizens in popular areas are not bound by the ban measures; the closure of markets, cafes and restaurants, as well as large gatherings and mixing."
