Restrictions on public isolation imposed to curb the Coronavirus have had negative impacts on animal health in their gardens, as children and tourists have been cut off from visits and cared for, selfie picked up and fed to them.
Mikhailo Pinchuk, founder of the first private zoo in Ukraine, stressed that the animals born in the zoo and used to seeing people are suffering from loneliness.
He said that some of the jungle animals are crying inside their pens in the garden, which no visitor has been allowed to enter since last March, when the authorities imposed measures of public isolation to contain the spread of the virus.
